AMTRION receives IECEE CB Test Report and NRTL certification for Spring arm 5

We have reached an important milestone: The Spring arm 5 has received the IECEE CB Test Report from TÜV SÜD and, for the first time, NRTL certification as a subcomponent—a strong signal for safety, quality, and the US market.

Federarm5: Certified for safety and markets

Our Spring arm 5 has been successfully certified by TÜV SÜD. With the IECEE CB Test Report, an independent body confirms the mechanical and electrical safety, including documentation. At the same time, a subcomponent of the mobile system (mobile stand) has received NRTL approval – a decisive step towards market approval in the USA.

What makes this milestone special?

•         First AMTRION product with active electronics and integrated battery with official test confirmation

CB Report vs. NRTL: What customers should know

The “Fix System” (ceiling mount and wall mount with boom and spring arm) has an IECEE CB Test Report. This confirms mechanical and electrical safety as well as complete documentation in a one-time test.

The “Mobile System” (mobile stand) goes one step further: in addition to the CB Report, it is NRTL approved. NRTL stands for Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory and requires continuous production monitoring by a notified body. For customers, this means:

•         Monitored production with annual production audit

•         Reporting requirement for every product-related change

•         Strict compliance with the submitted technical documentation

Relevance for the US market

NRTL approval is a de facto requirement in many US regulations and tenders. It facilitates technical evaluation by operators, authorities, and safety officers and reduces time to market and compliance risks. The CB Report lays the regulatory foundation for smooth international scaling of the Federarm5.
