Chapot table
Greater safety in thrombectomy
With the Chapot table from AMTRION, neuroradiologists will be able to perform high-precision operations even more safely and ergonomically in future.
Prof. Dr. René Chaport, renowned chief doctor of the Clinic for Radiology and Neuroradiology of the Alfried Krupp Hospital in Essen, came up with the idea of an operating table support for thrombectomy procedures over 15 years ago - a surgical method that he himself has been practising and significantly shaping since 1994. With the help of numerous tests, the Chapot table was continuously refined in partnership with the medical technology company AMTRION until it was finally brought to market maturity in 2018 and certified for use as a medical device.

Everything important in front of you at a glance
With the Chapot table, you no longer have to constantly turn away from the operating table during the procedure. You have everything important in front of you at a glance. Special organizational systems arrange and secure the infusion tubes to the table. This prevents air pockets or occlusions caused by kinking.

Comfortable and effortless
The Chapot table offers the neuroradiologist a back-friendly posture, especially during long or frequent procedures. Thanks to its various ergonomic advantages, such as the hand rest, storage surface and height adjustment, it enables an optimal, effortless and comfortable working position.
The details in focus

Thanks to its smooth stainless steel surfaces, the Chapot table is corrosion-resistant and very easy to clean.

The additional LED light strip enables the drip glasses to be illuminated so that the infusions can be monitored in the dark peripheral area of the operating table. The bar is adjustable in height and inclination and has three light intensities.

To prevent the infusions from running dry, the optional fluid control unit alerts the surgical team if the fluid levels are too low.
I always found it very annoying not to have the most important devices and materials in my field of vision. I constantly had to turn around instead of being able to perform this delicate surgical procedure in peace and with maximum concentration. I felt the need to develop a special table that would solve this problem for us neuroradiologists. Et voilà!
